A high-output 19.5 Amp motor paired with a 3-speed oil-bath gearbox delivers exceptional torque across a wide range of drilling diameters. Use the ETN 162/3 P handheld for dry coring in brick, block, and masonry up to 8″, or switch to wet drilling in reinforced concrete up to 3-1/4″ handheld. When mounted in a drill stand, the system cores up to 6-3/8″ diameter in concrete with excellent stability and precision.

The combination spindle integrates both a water swivel and dust extraction port, allowing fast changeover between wet and dry applications. A direct vacuum connection improves dust control during dry drilling, while the quick-mount stand interface allows rapid transition from handheld to rig-mounted operation. The drill stand column adjusts up to 45°, making angled drilling simple and accurate.

Safety and durability are built in. The ETN 162/3 P features a mechanical slip clutch, thermal and overcurrent protection, optical overload indicator, and a service LED that alerts the operator when carbon brushes are nearing replacement—helping prevent downtime and extend tool life.
