Designed specifically for plastics, the 5/16″ ACRYLI-DRILL® delivers clean, accurate holes in acrylic, Plexiglass®, Lexan®, polycarbonate, laminates, composites, and many other plastic materials.

Unlike conventional twist drills that can grab, crack, or chip brittle plastics, ACRYLI-DRILL® Bits feature our Super CHIPFREE™ Point and a 0° rake cutting edge to provide smoother drilling and greater control.

The Super CHIPFREE™ Point is precision-ground to a 60° point angle, allowing gradual penetration into the material to help minimize cracking and edge chipping.

A specially engineered 0° rake angle on the cutting edge reduces the tendency of the drill to “grab” as it breaks through plastic, helping produce cleaner holes and improved surface finish.

These bits are widely used throughout the plastics fabrication industry and are even trusted for drilling acrylic aircraft windshields where hole quality is critical.
